Video first look: Logitech G19 gaming keyboard

Here's our first look at the brand new Logitech G19 keyboard designed for gamers. It's an impressive piece of kit but also an expensive one. We'll be posting a full review soon.

Albert, you show such great taste spamming on these forums!

I actually bought the Logitech G35(?) keyboard. I was a gamer back then, and I can say that it was worth the purchase. The keyboards light up at night, you can program macro buttons, there was a screen that flipped up that would give you relevant game information... Say you were in a FPS game, it would tell u your HP, weapon, ammo left, etc.

Gamers should purchase these keyboards. The two usb connections in the back allow portability and mobility to take it anywhere. Worth the purchase for sure!

I really have to admit that is a big difference from the generic keyboard I have now. The macro function looks quite interesting. Hardcore gamers will be very grateful for those added macro buttons.

Any idea where the best deals are on this? It looks like a great product but you're right about the price.

Cool! I am also an addict gamer, with that kind of keyboard it will really help me a lot in playing strategy games and fps.

There is also no digital clock for the LCD. I had to create a program with the Logitech SDK to make my own digital LCD clock, which was quite an ordeal (you have to know how to program Win32 C GUIs and also have to have Microsoft Visual Studio), and I haven't been able to get the applet to run on my home computer because of missing DLLs that I still can't find. So I wasted a week coding this for nothing. Sad.
