FlightGear is finished!
After 11 years of development, the open source flight simulator FlightGear has been released properly as version 1.
If the high cost and system requirements of Microsoft Flight Simulator X have been a problem (there's no way I'm going to be able to free up 9GB on my notebook!), then FlightGear is an excellent alternative, with plenty of community created aircraft. These include some British greats such as the Mosquito and Sopwith Camel.
