Windows Vista Service Pack 1, or not
Having found reports that Vista service pack 1 had a release date, Microsoft told Information Week that this was 'inaccurate' and the most specific release date is 'sometime this year'.

I found firewall etc confusing and irritating so I bought Windows Live Care as I have Windows Vista already installed on a new computer. Brilliant!
I inactivated Firewall etc.
